M. N. Hanson is a pragmatic rebel, a creative problem solver, and a curator of words who builds content for print and the web. Other available services include ghostwriting, technical/grant writing, data collection and analysis, and editing.

The Ugly Iowan was the title of a now-defunct arts and lit publication at the University of Iowa in the early 1960s.
